During the Transcoast Partner Meeting on 24 April 2012 ZKA Consultants started the development of the Transcoast model by a presentation of the first steps.

One of the central items within the Transcoast project is the development of a “Transcoast economic model”. This model has to be developed together with all Transcoast partners and aims at bringing into vision the social economic effects of all separate project plans.
Brightlingsea Foot and Cycle Ferry

Brightlingsea Harbour Commissioners have been providing a foot and cycle ferry service since 2004. It has established itself as a valuable community facility originally running only to Point Clear.

The Pioneer Sailing Trust will be making an innovative trip to its project partners across Belgium and Province Zeeland in the Netherlands and to share its experience of working with community organisations.
School Sailing activities

Transcoast within EU projects “Europe around the corner”

As of 2011 the Ministries in The Netherlands in particular will pay more attention to the European projects which will be carried out. Governors, policy officers and the population are meant to get acquainted with Interreg projects that are being realised at the moment.
