The Transcoast Project //

Welcome to the website of the Transcoast Project

The Transcoast Project is a cooperation initiative of 12 partners and regional authorities from France, the UK, Flanders and the Netherlands working together to transform their neglected port and maritime areas and regenerate them to provide marinas and facilities for maritime leisure and tourism.

The project is funded through the Interreg IVA 2Seas Programme and its main aim is to strengthen the economic viability of the coastal regions in the 2Seas area through the sharing of experience and knowledge between partners.

Working together to implement the project actions, the partners aim to transform derelict and substandard port areas into vibrant and prosperous places, at the same time engaging local communities and involving them in these exciting new projects.
